In such a situation, the administration has issued instructions that no one will be allowed to make reels within a radius of 50 meters near the Char Dham temples. Nor will anyone be allowed to shoot videos within this radius. That is, now VIP darshan and videography have been completely banned here. Offline registration in Haridwar and Rishikesh has been closed till May 19.

The Char Dham Yatra started on 10 May. In the first 6 days, more than 3 lakh people reached for Char Dham Darshan, including foreign tourists. Registration for the Yatra started on 25 April. If media reports are to be believed, by Thursday, 27 lakh devotees had registered for the Yatra. Due to such a large crowd of people reaching there, the administration is also facing difficulties in keeping the Yatra organized. Therefore, registration has been stopped for the time being.
