TOI’s AccordingZomato has issued a statement on a recent incident and also said that it has delisted the restaurant whose cake had led to the death of a 10-year-old in Patiala, Punjab. death of a baby girl It happened. The company has also claimed to permanently ban the restaurant owner. The company expressed condolences in its statement and wrote, “We are deeply saddened by the recent incident in Patiala. We have immediately removed the restaurant and stopped the owner from working on our platform. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement officials in their investigation.”

Let us tell you that the incident happened on March 24, the day the girl celebrated her birthday and a few hours after that she died. The family told that before this she also vomited and then she also had trouble breathing. Other family members also fell ill after eating the cake. The family says that “the cake was ordered online around six in the evening and by 11 pm, all those who ate the cake fell ill.”
