Punjab Girl 10 years old from Patiala Dies After Eating Cake Ordered Online On Her Birthday

A 10-year-old girl lost her life after eating a cake ordered online. A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Punjab last week in which a 10-year-old girl died after eating a cake ordered for her birthday. Other family members including the girl’s younger sister also fell ill after eating that cake. The cake was ordered from a bakery in Patiala.

Punjab In Patiala, a 10-year-old girl named Manvi lost her life after eating a cake ordered online. Before the incident, videos of the girl’s birthday were posted on social media in which she is seen cutting the cake with her family. A few hours after that, the whole family including the girl fell ill. Report According to him, the cake was cut at around 7 pm and by 10 pm the whole family fell ill.

According to the girl’s grandfather Harban Lal, both the sisters started vomiting soon after eating the cake. Manvi asked for water, she was feeling very thirsty. She was saying that her throat was getting dry. After that she went to sleep. The next morning, seeing Manvi’s condition deteriorating, the family rushed her to the hospital. The girl was put on oxygen.

After that, her ECG test was done in which the electrical activity of the heart is measured. But Manvi’s condition kept deteriorating. Even the doctors could not save her and soon the girl was declared dead. The girl’s family alleges that there was some poisonous substance in the chocolate cake ordered. An FIR has been registered against the bakery owner. Also, the girl’s postmortem has also been done. A sample of the cake has also been sent for examination in connection with the incident. This incident of death due to online food raises a big question on the safety of such food.
