The platform has said that we have launched ‘Pure Veg Mode’ for customers who want veg. For which the uniform of the fleet and even the delivery box will be of green color. But some users did not like this new beginning!

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal shared a post from his account on social media platform X. Goyal said that the number of vegetarian food eaters in India is the highest in the world. And the most important feedback received from the customers is that the customer is very sensitive about the way their food is cooked and the way food is handled. In this latest mode of Zomato, only those restaurants will be included which serve only vegetarian food.

The company is rolling out this new mode in a phased manner. This service will be available across the country in the next few weeks. Deepinder Goyal also said that only veg orders will be sent in the green delivery box. Non-veg food will not be kept in it. Not only this, even if a non-veg restaurant is serving veg dishes, there is no place for it in the green box.

After the announcement, mixed reactions of users are coming on social media. Many users have appreciated this move. At the same time, many have called it discriminatory. Users also said that now some societies will ban red-shirt delivery persons. Many users claimed that this move of the platform is discriminatory, due to which they have deleted the Zomato app from their phones. At the same time, the CEO says that it has nothing to do with any religion or politics. Seeing the users getting angry, the company withdrew its decision. Now the green T-shirt will not be used for the delivery person of the Waze fleet.

Zomato is planning to run more such special fleets in the coming days. Special facilities for cakes can be seen in this. It is reported that the company will use hydraulic balancers for the cake fleet so that the cake can reach the customer in its original form during delivery.
