It has the option of 6 seater or 7 seater. Scorpio-N is available in five variants – Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L. All these variants are in both petrol and diesel options. This SUV is available in the option of 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine and 2.2 liter diesel engine. Its petrol engine generates maximum power of 197 bhp and peak torque of 380 Nm.
Last year, the company launched the electric SUV XUV400. Its range on a single charge is a little more than 450 km. XUV400 competes with MG’s ZS EV and Tata Motors’ Nexon EV. It has two variants – EC and EL. It has features like electronic stability program, tire pressure monitoring, cruise control and fog lamps. In the last few years, the number of electric SUVs in the country has increased by 100 km. Electric Vehicles Sales have grown rapidly. Many automobile companies are launching their new models in this segment. Mahindra also plans to launch some new electric vehicles. The company competes with Tata Motors in this market.
