TCS Employees Need to Follow This Rule to Get Promotion And Increase in Salary.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the largest software companies, has decided to link salary hikes and variable payments for its employees to the rule of working from the office. Heads of units in the company have told their teams that the grades required for promotion will be based on their working from the office.

This will make them eligible for a salary higher than the annual package of Rs 3 lakh. In this report, quoting sources, it has been told that return-to-office is being done for promotion and salary hike. Rule It is necessary to follow the rules. TCS has made it mandatory for employees to attend office five days a week. This has withdrawn the work from home facility for some teams. The company has asked employees to go to their designated office instead of choosing an office close to their residence. However, the company’s HR department is allowing limited work from home on a case-to-case basis. Recently, the company also advised employees to take care of the dress code in the office.

At the end of last year, another software company Infosys had decided to make it mandatory for its employees to work from office for at least three days a week. Earlier, the company had asked its employees to come to office regularly but this was not being followed. Many other companies in this sector have also removed the facility of work from home given to employees.

An email sent by Infosys management said, “Please start coming to the office at least three days a week. This will soon become mandatory.” This email also expressed displeasure over the low response to the earlier email sent regarding returning to the office. It said that the arrangement of work from home for three years after Corona is sufficient. Along with this, employees have been told that except for medical reasons, they will have to attend office regularly.
