It has the option of 1.2 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. Its petrol engine gives a peak torque of 118 bhp and 170 Nm. There are options of 5 speed, 6 speed manual, 6 speed AMT and 7 speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) with its petrol engine. Its diesel engine gives a peak torque of 113 bhp and 260 Nm. It is available with 6 speed manual gearbox and 6 speed AMT.
The price of its electric version is between Rs 14.74 lakh and Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants – Creative, Fearless and Empowered. It comes in two battery packs. Its variant with 30 kWh battery pack has a range of about 325 km. Its 40.5 kWh variant gives a range of about 465 km. Recently Tata Motors had requested the central government not to give tax exemption on hybrid cars. Toyota, a leading company in the hybrid car segment, had demanded a reduction in tax on hybrid vehicles.
