Kia Presents Updated Sonet, Booking to Start from Next Week

South Korean automobile company Kia introduced the updated Sonet on Thursday. Some changes have been made in its exterior design. Along with this, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) has been added to it. It can be launched in India in the first quarter of next year. Booking of the new Sonet will start from December 20.

Sonet is an important model for the company. It is priced at Rs 14,999 in the country. Sale It is also exported along with Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue. It is less than four meters long SUV However, the best-selling model for Kia in the country is the Seltos. The design of the DRL has been changed slightly in the updated Sonet. Its headlights and front bumper have also changed. It will be available in eight single and two dual-tone colors. Its monotone colors are Olive, White, Silver, Grey, Red, Blue, Clear White and Black. Dual-tone colors include red with black roof and white with black roof.

It has a 10.25 inch main touchscreen display and a 10.25 inch LCD driver display. Along with this, there is a 360 degree camera, smart air purification system, seven-speaker Bose sound system and electric sunroof. Last month, Kia reduced the price of Seltos SUV. However, for this, some features of Seltos have been removed. The company launched it in July at a starting price of Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the variants of Seltos, its price has decreased by about Rs 2,000.

It competes with Hyundai’s Creta. The price of Seltos’ HTX and above variants has been reduced. No changes have been made to its X-Line variant. Kia has planned to provide one-touch rolling feature of windows only on the driver side window in all variants except Seltos’ X-Line. Due to this, the price has been reduced. However, this feature will be available for all windows in the X-Line variant. Its upgraded version was launched a few months ago. Along with some changes in its design, improvements have also been made in the cabin. Apart from this, some new features have also been added to it. Its top variant gets ADAS Level 2 technology. Seltos has received good response from customers in the mid-size SUV segment.
