It has not been long since the Nexon facelift was launched. Its price starts from Rs 8.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Data shows that Tata Motors sold a total of 14,916 units of this car last month. With this number, Nexon has again come on top.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza is at number two, which sold 13,393 units. Hyundai Venue, on the other hand, secured the third position in the list by selling 11,180 units. A total of 6,433 units of Kia India Sonet were sold. After this, vehicles like Mahindra XUV 300 and Nissan Magnite are included in the list.
Nexon has several powertrain options. It can be had in 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel. An all-electric variant of Nexon is also available, in which the company claims a range of 465 km in the top version. Talking about other news, Tata Motors plans to set up around 10,000 charging stations for electric vehicles (EV) in the next two years. For this, the company has tied up with operators like Chargezone, Glida, Statiq and Zeon. It ranks first in the EV segment of the country. It also has a large EV charging network. The company has sold more than 1.15 lakh electric vehicles in the country.
