Vivo survey 91 percent children experience anxiety when distanced from Smartphones

A survey has revealed a surprising fact. Smartphone maker giant Vivo has conducted a survey. It explains how excessive use of smartphones is weakening the relationship between parents and children.

It clearly shows how excessive use of smartphone is affecting the relationship between parents and children. More than 1500 people have been included in the study. They were from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Pune. The survey has revealed that 70 percent of parents believe that smartphone helps in giving new information about the world.

60% of parents agreed that smartphones are important to keep them connected with their friends, family etc. At the same time, 60% of parents say that with the help of smartphones, shopping has become very easy now.

When it comes to children, 60% of the children agreed that smartphones provide them with information about the country and the world. Whereas 58% of the children said that due to smartphones they remain connected with their friends and loved ones. The surprising thing in the study is that children up to 12 years of age have started spending an average of 6.5 hours on smartphones daily. In which most of the focus is on playing games. Among them, 91% agreed that they start feeling nervous and troubled when they go away from the smartphone.

Study shows that even while staying at home, children spend most of the day smart fone This is having a bad effect on the mental and social condition of the child. It is said to be nothing less than an addiction. The study also says that parents are very worried about the increasing addiction of smartphones among children. Now there is a great need to take steps for this. In this connection, Vivo is going to celebrate Switch Off Day on 20 December.
