When arrested by the police, the culprit revealed that he performed the dangerous stunt as he wanted to impress his wife on the occasion of their wedding anniversary and recorded the video and uploaded it on social media to get likes.

After the arrest, the police made him delete the video. He also revealed that after the incident, he had sold the car to someone in Delhi and hence, the Mohali police says that it has approached the Delhi Police to seize the vehicle. Moreover, the culprit has been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
