Jio AirFiber Expands to 115 Cities in India, Company will Increase its Reach

The scope of Jio AirFiber, the 5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) based internet service of Reliance Jio, one of the big telecom companies, is increasing. It has also been launched in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Jio AirFiber’s reach has increased to 115 cities.

Apart from Delhi NCR, these include Anantapur, Kadapa, Guntur, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongola, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Vijayanagaram in Andhra Pradesh. In Maharashtra, this service is available in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmednagar, Amravati, Aurangabad, Chandrapur, Jalna, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Nanded, Nashik, Ratnagiri, Sangli and Solapur. In Tamil Nadu, it has been made available in Chennai, Ambur, Chengalpattu, Coimbatore, Erode, Hosur, Kanchipuram, Karur, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Namakkal, Neyveli, Pattukottai, Pollachi, Salem, Sriperumbudur, Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli, Tirupur, Tiruvalur, Tiruvannamalai and Vellore.

In Telangana, this service is available in Hyderabad, Armoor, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahbubnagar, Mancherial, Miryalaguda, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Palwancha, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Sircilla, Suryapet, Tandur and Warangal. In West Bengal, Jio AirFiber has been launched in Kolkata. Airtel Air Fiber of the country’s second largest telecom company Bharti Airtel has been made available in select cities. It is in Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. The company plans to expand the scope of this service soon. The number of broadband subscribers has increased rapidly in the last few years.

Jio AirFiber unit is installed on the terrace or rooftop outside your house. The installation charge for this is Rs 1,000. However, if you take an annual plan for this service, then you will have to pay Rs 1,000. Company Installation charges can be waived off by Jio. Jio AirFiber plans start at Rs 599 (excluding GST) per month. It offers speeds up to 30 Mbps and unlimited downloads. Its monthly plans of Rs 899 and Rs 1,199 are also available. In this, users also get the option of taking a six-month or annual plan. OTT services like JioCinema, Sony Liv, Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, Sun NXT, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, ShemarooMe, DocuBay, ALTBalaji, Universal+ and EPIC are also available. Apart from this, JioAirFiber users also get a 4K smart set-top box and voice enabled remote.
