Optus took to social media to share the details of the problem and assured people that the network has been restored, with almost all services gradually coming back online. The company also asked affected customers to restart their devices and provided troubleshooting steps for those who were still experiencing connectivity issues after the main issue was fixed by the company.

ABC’s Report According to , the outage was first reported at 4 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
At the same time, Optus put an end to people’s fears by saying that the outage was not caused by a cyber attack but happened due to a “technical network fault”.
Due to this problem, users’ smartphones and broadband connections came to a standstill. This outage, which continued for a significant part of the day, left people almost completely cut off from the digital world.
In a message to its customers, Optus thanked them for their patience during this time and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
