Infosys allowed employees to work remotely during Corona. According to a Reuters report, the company has sent emails to some employees from entry to mid-level and instructed them to come to the office for at least 10 days in a month. Recently Infosys Co-founder of , Narayana Murthy, had said that the youth of the country should work for 70 hours a week. Last month Company Infosys Chief Executive Officer, Salil Parekh had said that Infosys employees have started returning to the office. However, the company has continued its flexible policy.
Global software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) had made it mandatory for its employees to report to the office five days a week from last month. Along with this, the company had advised the employees to take care of the dress code in the office. Milind Lakkad, Chief Human Resource Officer of TCS, had said in an email to the employees that the company wants to see its associates in the office on all working days. He had said, “A large number of our associates have joined in the last two years and they were working virtually or in a hybrid manner. It is our responsibility to integrate them. Working from the office is important to adopt the values of TCS in the TCS way.”
In this email, he said that employees should also take care of the dress code because they also represent the company. The company’s dress code policy requires business casual dress for associates from Monday to Thursday. However, smart casual dress is allowed on Friday. Earlier, TCS had said that about 70 percent of its employees have returned to the office.
