Pakistani Cricket Team Ordered Biryani Kebab Chaap via Zomato Before Bangladesh Match All Details

ICC CWC 2023: Pakistan and Bangladesh faced each other at the Eden Gardens Stadium on Tuesday. Pakistan easily won this match by seven wickets. However, there is another incident, which is now in the headlines. In fact, two days before this match of Pakistan, i.e. on Sunday, Babar Azam’s team had reportedly decided to order food from outside instead of having dinner at the team hotel. According to the news agency report, the team ordered food through a food delivery app instead of 5 star hotel food for dinner.

Of ANI AccordingThe Pakistan cricket team on Tuesday decided to skip dinner at a five-star hotel on Sunday, two days ahead of their match against Bangladesh, and ordered their food from a Kolkata restaurant. Reports say that the team used the Zomato app to order biryani, kebabs and chaap from Kolkata’s popular Zam Zam restaurant. At the moment, it is not clear why the Pakistani team opted out of eating at a five-star hotel.

Zam Zam restaurant director Shadman Faiz told the news agency that initially he had no idea that the order was from the Pakistan cricket team, but he came to know about it later.

He said in his statement, “The order came through an online food delivery platform. He ordered three dishes which were biryani, kebab and chaap. He ordered it after 7 pm on Sunday. Initially, we did not know that the order was from the Pakistan cricket team but later we came to know about it. I hope he liked the food.”

He further added, “People from every country should come and taste our food. Kolkata has its own style of biryani which is very famous all over the world.”

Let us tell you that Pakistan has won the 31st match of the World Cup and its 7th match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The team has registered its third win of the tournament by defeating Bangladesh by 7 wickets. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first and could not play the full 50 overs and was all-out on a score of 204 runs in 45.1 overs. In return, Pakistan achieved the target in 32.3 overs and kept its hopes alive for the semi-finals. With this defeat, Bangladesh is out of the race for the semi-finals.
