BMW i7 M70 xDrive and BMW 740d M Sport Launched in India Range 560 km

BMW India today launched the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive and BMW 740d M Sport in the Indian market. The new 7-Series is available in petrol, diesel and all-electric variants. The new BMW 740d M Sport will be manufactured at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai, while the all-electric BMW i7 M70 xDrive will be brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

Price of BMW i7 M70 xDrive and BMW 740d M Sport

Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of the new BMW 740d M Sport is Rs 1.81 crore, while the ex-showroom price of the all-electric i7 M70 xDrive is Rs 2.5 crore. Both these cars will be available at all BMW India dealerships from today. As for the color option, the BMW 740d M Sport can be purchased in Oxide Grey, Mineral White, Black Sapphire and BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue color options. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive will be available in two-tone paintwork with Black Sapphire Roof and Oxide Grey Roof.

Power and range of BMW i7 M70 xDrive and BMW 740d M Sport

New BMW The 740d M Sport is powered by a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine that generates 286bhp of power and 650Nm of torque. Apart from this, it has a 48V mild hybrid system that generates 18bhp and 200Nm of torque. The engine is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. BMW claims that this luxury sedan can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6 seconds. The top speed is 250 kmph.

The all-electric BMW i7 M70 xDrive has an electric CV motor that generates 660 hp of power and 1100 Nm of torque. The all-electric luxury sedan can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 250 kmph. BMW claims that it can reach a speed of 560 kmph on full charge. A 101.7 kWh battery has been provided.
