India’s UPI left China and America behind, created a new record of online payment!

India’s UPI payment system has become the largest medium of digital payment in the world. It has left behind the payment systems of America, China and Brazil. In the month of August, a record 14.96 billion UPI transactions took place. 3,729.1 transactions were processed every second. It has left behind China’s Alipay, America’s PayPal and Brazil’s PIX. 60 lakh new users are joining UPI every month. More than 40 percent of payments in the country are being made digitally.
