iPhone 15 Pro Users complaining of Overheating Issue, Change in Design could be Reason

Apple, the American company that makes the popular iPhone worldwide, launched the iPhone 15 series earlier this month. Users of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max of this series have reported overheating problems in these smartphones. The reason for this was the speculation of the use of the new A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

However, TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that these Smartphones The reason for overheating in the iPhone 15 Pro is the changes made in their internal design. In a post on Medium, Kuo has said that his market survey has shown that the alleged overheating problem in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is not related to the advanced 3 nm node of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Both these smartphones use TSMC’s 3 nm A17 Pro chip. Apple has given A16 Bionic chip in other models of the iPhone 15 series.

Kuo claims that the reason for overheating in these smartphones may be the changes made by Apple in their thermal design. The company has used titanium frame in both these smartphones. There are reports that many users of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are facing problems due to excessive heating. Due to this the temperature is rising up to 46 degrees Celsius. A YouTube channel from South Korea has posted a video showing the rising temperature in these smartphones using a thermal imaging camera. Kuo says that some solution to this problem is being found. Apple It may release software updates for these smartphones. However, to do so, the company may have to reduce the performance of their processors.

Delivery of these Pro models of Apple’s new iPhone series may be delayed in some countries including India. Due to this, both these smartphones are reported to be selling at a premium over the retail price. The sale of these smartphones started on 22 September in India and international markets. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are not available in stock at many authorized retailers of Apple across the country.
