Recently, HMSI launched the SP125 Sports Edition motorcycle. Its price is Rs 90,567 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will be available at Honda Red Wing dealerships across the country. This motorcycle has a better tank design and new graphics than before. It will be available in Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Grey Metallic colours. It has a bright LED headlamp, fully digital instrument console. Mileage related information will also be available in its instrument console along with gear position indicator. The SP125 Sports Edition has a 123.94 cc, single cylinder BS 6, OBD2 compliant PGM-FI engine, which generates 8 kW power and 10.9 Nm torque. The company is offering a special 10-year warranty with it, which will include three years of standard warranty and seven years of optional warranty.

Company Honda had said that it would invest about $700 million by 2025 for the electrification of its motorcycles. After this, about $2.7 billion will be invested by 2030. Honda has also increased its global sales target to 4 million units by 2030. The company plans to initially use the existing infrastructure for its internal combustion engine models.
