Amazon Employee Fired After He Complained About Lifting Heavy Boxes On TikTok

An Amazon employee had to pay a heavy price for posting a video on TikTok. The employee had said in the TikTok video that people ordering goods from Amazon should stop ordering heavy goods because he is tired of lifting heavy boxes. The employee has said that due to this video, the company fired him from his job.

In the video, he told the whole story and said, “Hello friends, I have a bad news. Amazon has fired me. 7 years were wasted. To put a long story short, I made a video four weeks ago in which I asked people to stop ordering heavy things from Amazon. As an Amazon employee, I was tired of lifting heavy things. Some people found my words funny, but some people also got angry with it. If you also felt bad about my words, then I apologize for that. My intention was not to hurt anyone. Or discriminate against anyone. I just wanted to make a funny video. And I am not just saying this. I have lost my job. And now I will not be rehired. So please forgive me.”

The controversial video of the employee is from 6th December in which he said that he has done extra shifts and he has been given the job of a picker in Amazon warehouse. While making the video, he said that he has to pick up boxes of Fiji water or dog food as every other thing. He said that stop buying water from Amazon. When your water runs out, do you wait for 2-3 days for the water to be delivered? The employee was telling Amazon users not to order such things. Which later proved costly for him.
