The BMW X4 M40i price in India starts at Rs 96.2 lakh (ex-showroom). As mentioned above, it will be available in India as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU). The luxury sports SUV will be available in limited numbers and can be booked exclusively on the BMW online shop. The X4 M40i will be available in Brooklyn Gray and Black Sapphire. It also includes standard leather Vernasca in black and Tacora Red options.
Talking about the powertrain, the BMW X4 M40i will be powered by a 3.0-litre turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine that produces 360hp of power and 500 Nm of maximum torque at 1,900 – 5,000 rpm. BMW claims that the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph. The car also gets different driving modes like ECO PRO, COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT Plus. The engine also gets 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
BMW has paired this engine with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels. The car also features an M Sport differential and BMW says it enhances traction and cornering by electronically controlling the distribution of power to each wheel. It includes 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels.
Inside, it has twin 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. The car comes with a three-spoke steering wheel. Ambient lighting has been included in it. Talking about other features, it has a three-zone climate control system. A panoramic sunroof has also been added to it.

The new X4 M40i is equipped with six airbags, attentiveness assistance, cornering brake control (CBC), dynamic stability control (DSC), electric parking brake with auto hold, electronic vehicle immobiliser, side-impact protection and crash sensors.
