Google’s Doodle The doodle shows a pond with rocks and leaves in the background with the Google logo in a small protrusion in the background. The doodle shows an amusing scene and is accompanied by a message. The animation reads, “Alarming news, it’s Leap Day! Leap Day, February 29, is celebrated approximately every 4 years to keep our calendar aligned with the Earth and the Sun. Enjoy this extra day in February – Happy Leap Day
This creative work by Google has shown the need for leap days to make our calendar system accurate. It ensures that the time is in sync with how the Earth revolves around the Sun.
