The doodle depicts the progress made by women in recent years. In a post, the company has written, today people celebrate those women who changed the society. Fought for equality and set positive examples everywhere.

It is worth noting that on this day in 1975, the United Nations celebrated International Women’s Day for the first time. Since then, this day is celebrated every year on March 8. Referring to the contribution of women in the world, Google wrote in its post wrote That today is focused on issues like gender equality and preventing violence against women.

The Google post also mentions the two initial rallies of Women’s Day. These rallies were held in St. Petersburg and New York City. In the rallies, along with fair and safe jobs, the right to vote was also demanded.
