The motorcycle features a round headlamp with H-shaped DRL, which gives it a roadster look. Along with a single-piece seat, it gets features like a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The lighting is completely LED. The instrument cluster also supports e-SIM. The bike includes diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The Hero Mavrick 440 is powered by a 440 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 27 hp and a peak torque of 36 Nm as claimed by the company. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle gets 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Disc brakes are present at both ends.
The Maverick 440 is offered in white, red, blue, black and matte black colours. It is available in three variants – base, mid and top. The price has not been announced at the moment. Bookings for the model have already started, deliveries are scheduled to begin in February.
The Hero Maverick competes with motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, Honda H’ness CB350. It will even compete with the Harley-Davidson X440.
