Hero MotoCorp Registers Highest Festive Sales, More than 14 Lakh Units Sold

Hero MotoCorp, one of the largest two-wheeler companies, has recorded its highest festive season sales this year. The company has sold more than 14 lakh units in this 32-day period. This is a growth of about 19 percent compared to last year. Earlier, the company had recorded its highest festive season sales of 12.7 lakh units four years ago.

The company has also introduced the second edition of Hero GIFT. This is especially for the festive season. New models of two-wheelers, new colors and finance schemes have been offered in it. Hero MotoCorp also participated in this year’s EICMA event. It introduced the special Vida V1 coupe electric scooter, Xoom 125R and Xoom 160. Niranjan Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said, “We are very happy with the festive sales. We thank all the customers who have maintained their trust in the Hero MotoCorp brand. This is a clear indication that growth is returning in rural areas. This is good for the company and especially for the two-wheeler industry.”

Last month, Hero MotoCorp started delivering Harley-Davidson X440 to customers. 1,000 units of this powerful motorcycle have been sold at the company’s 100 dealerships. It is being manufactured at Hero MotoCorp’s factory in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Company has also started new bookings for it. The X440 is being sold in three variants – Denim, Vivid and S. Their prices range between Rs 2,39,500 and Rs 2,79,500 (ex-showroom).

This is Harley Davidson’s most affordable motorcycle. The company has received more than 25,000 bookings for it. To meet its increasing demand, Hero MotoCorp will increase its manufacturing. The design of this motorcycle has been specially made according to the conditions of the country. Many styling elements have been taken from the company’s previous models. The X440 has a round headlamp, LED lighting and LCD instrument control. It has a recently developed 398 cc single cylinder and air cooled motor.
