The starting price of Hero Xtreme is Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It also comes in a dual-channel ABS variant, which is priced at Rs 99,500 ex-showroom, Delhi. The main difference between the two is the braking system. Its booking is going to start soon.
Talking about the design, the Hero Extreme 125R has been given a sharp style with a unique headlamp. It is slightly different from the trend, which is likely to give a special identity to the motorcycle. The low-slung headlamp comes with LED turn indicators on both sides at the front and DRL is visible on the top.
The motorcycle looks slightly slimmer with a sharply styled fuel tank. Apart from this, it gets split seats and split grab rails to enhance the sporty look.
The Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by a new 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine tuned to 11.39 bhp at 8,250 rpm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike uses 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a Showa-developed monoshock at the rear.
As we mentioned above, braking performance depends on the variant, with a single front disc and a choice of drum brake or disc at the rear. The bike comes with single-channel ABS as standard, while there is a dual-channel ABS variant.
Talking about the features of Hero Xtreme 125R, it also has an LCD unit along with a digital console.
