Honda said that Elevate has contributed more than 50 percent to its total sales in the last three months. The CVT variant of the Elevate SUV is in high demand. We have increased the production of Elevate to reduce its waiting period.” In the SUV segment, it competes with Hyundai’s Creta, Kia of Seltos, of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, of Volkswagen Taigun, MG Motor It competes with Skoda’s Astor and Skoda’s Kushaq. Its prices range between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
More than 90 percent of the components of the Elevate SUV have been locally sourced. It is being manufactured at the company’s factory in Tapukara in Rajasthan. It is also being exported from the country. A lot of space has been provided in its interior. It is available in Phoenix Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic colours. The Elevate is equipped with a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine. It generates 119 BHP of power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. It has a six-speed manual transmission and CVT option.
It has features like 10.25 inch touchscreen system, electric sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7 inch semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging. Apart from this, ventilated front seats, door-panel mounted ORVMs, LED headlights, connected LED lights have been provided. Elevate has features like six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, hill descent control, advanced driver assistance system, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and high beam assist.
