Hyundai Exter SUV to be Costly, These Are New Prices

South Korean automobile company Hyundai Motor has increased the price of the Exter SUV. The company launched the Exter two months ago. The price of four of its six variants has been increased by up to Rs 16,000. It was launched at a starting price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).

The lowest price hike of about Rs 5,000 has been made in the top end variant of Exter SX (O) Connect. It has dual-tone and automatic gearbox. Hyundai The price of its SX(O) Connect variant has been increased the most by Rs 16,000. It has a manual transmission with dual-tone. Its other variants have become costlier by about Rs 10,400. The price of the top-end variant of Exter has increased to about Rs 10.10 lakh (ex-showroom). There is no change in the price of its entry level EX and SX(O) Connect variants.

It competes with Tata Punch and Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx. The company has also given the option of CNG engine along with petrol for this. Many features have been given in the Exter SUV and it can be helpful in increasing Hyundai’s sales. It has been made available in white color with black roof, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White, Titan Gray and Cosmic Blue with black roof and Ranger Khaki colors.

It has six airbags which are not available in any other car of this segment. The company is giving a warranty of three years or unlimited kilometers with it. Exeter It has a 1.2 liter petrol engine that generates 83 PS of power and 11.6 Nm of torque. It also has the option of a 1.2 liter bi-fuel petrol and CNG engine, which can generate 69 PS of power and 95.2 Nm of torque. It is available in both manual and automatic variants. Its design is based on Hyundai’s new design system, which has a split headlamp setup with H-shape LED DRL. It has a turn indicator in the upper part and a headlamp cluster below. On the side of the Exter, there is a squared wheel arch with dual tone alloy wheels. A black strip is given at its rear which is linked to both the tail lamps.
