JioCinema Premium can now be purchased in India as a monthly subscription. The Viacom18-owned platform offers users streaming of films and TV series, including content from HBO, Paramount, Peacock and Warner Bros. Users can download content to watch offline at 4K resolution without ads. The normal plan will offer streaming on one screen at a time, while a family plan will extend that limit to 4 devices. It is worth noting that both the JioCinema Premium plans have a special introductory price that the individual plan costs Rs 59 and the family plan costs Rs 149.

JioCinema Premium was previously available as an annual subscription priced at Rs 999. This plan is no longer listed on the streaming service’s website, which means customers will have to opt for a monthly plan. With the current introductory price, the effective price of the individual JioCinema Premium plan is Rs 348, which is significantly lower than the old plan. Meanwhile, the effective price of the family plan is Rs 1,068 for a year.

Meanwhile, the JioCinema website says that both the personal and family plans will offer ad-free streaming of live and sports content except for the IPL cricket tournament.
