An ex-user named @rohaninvestor has said in a video post that he ordered a Lenovo laptop from Amazon on April 30. It was delivered on May 7. When the user went to Lenovo’s official site and checked the laptop’s warranty, it was found that it had started in December 2023. The user says that this is a clear indication that the laptop has been used before.
The user has alleged that Amazon has sold him a second-hand product and that too for the full amount. The angry user even said that people should think twice before buying from Amazon. In his post, the user wrote,
Amazon scammed me! @amazonIN sells used products as new. Today I received a ‘new’ laptop from Amazon but it was already used and the warranty started in December 2023.
People are calling this incident shameful. In response to the user’s tweet, we also saw a tweet from Amazon Help, in which they apologized for the bad experience and asked the user to give full details. However, @rohaninvestor’s anger is at its peak. He has demanded to take back the used product and refund the money so that he can order a new laptop.
Many people suggested @rohaninvestor to take the complaint to Lenovo. Lenovo has also replied on this entire matter and said that it starts the warranty from the day of purchase of the product.
