Maruti Suzuki press Release has informed about the recall of its 16,041 vehicles through the company. The company has said that 11,851 Baleno and 4,190 Wagon R cars are being recalled due to a potential problem. The problem has been found in units manufactured between July 30, 2019 and November 1, 2019.
Maruti Suzuki has assured the owners of these cars that they will test and replace the parts found with the problem free of cost. The company has not yet announced any specific way to notify the owners other than direct contact.
The company has posted a post on its official portal Page has created a website where Baleno and Wagon R owners can check if their car is among the affected models. For this, you have to submit the chassis number of your car. Once again, let us tell you that the problem has been found in units manufactured between July 30, 2019 and November 1, 2019.
The Baleno and Wagon R are two of the best-selling passenger vehicles in India. According to TOI AccordingMSIL sold 19,412 units of the Wagon R in February 2024, registering a 15 per cent year-on-year growth as compared to 16,889 units sold in the same month last year. Similarly, 17,517 units of the Baleno were sold, making it the third best-selling car in India in the month.
