OnePlus China President Li Jie posted a photo on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Post It was told that the company is going to introduce the ‘second generation oriental screen’ to the world next month, i.e. in October, in partnership with BOE. This could be the company’s upcoming flagship, OnePlus 13, in which BOE’s next-gen screen (BOE X2) can be used.
The post also states that this next-gen screen will focus on better display quality, high brightness performance and more eye protection than before. Last year, the OnePlus 12 was launched with BOE’s first-generation X1 Oriental screen, which is where the partnership between OnePlus and BOE began. Recent leaks have indicated that the OnePlus 13 will include a 6.8-inch 2K 8T LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It can also have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for security. At the same time, the smartphone can have a 50-megapixel main rear camera, which will be a Sony LYT-808 sensor. Along with this, a 50-megapixel ultrawide angle camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens can also be given in the setup.
The phone can get 100W fast charging support with a 6000mAh battery. It can be launched with IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. However, all these are leaks at the moment and the name of this upcoming smartphone or its specifications are yet to be officially confirmed by the company.
