Ray Ban Meta Smart Glasses Can Support 3 Minute Long Video Recording

Ray-Ban Meta smartglasses are getting a quality upgrade with the new 6.0 software update. According to a report, Meta hasn’t announced specifics but one of the new additions to the smartglasses is an increase in video recording time. After the update, users will reportedly be able to record up to 3 minutes of video with their Ray-Ban Meta smartglasses which is three times more than the previous limit.

According to a report by Digital Trends, Ray-Ban Meta The version 6.0 update for the smartglasses allows users to record videos up to 3 minutes long. Where previously users could only record up to 60 seconds. However, the increased recording time cannot be turned on by default. After the update, the Ray-Ban Meta smartglasses still record videos for up to 60 seconds. However, users can reportedly go to the settings in the compatible app and go to the camera section to change it.

The new feature for the glasses has been rolled out with a software update. If users have not turned on the auto-update option, they can manually update the smartglasses to get this and other updates. The update for the Ray-Ban Meta smartglasses was announced in May. According to a Meta blog post, the smartglasses now support the Calm app, which helps users improve their mindfulness. It can be accessed through a simple voice command “Ray-Ban Meta smartglasses.”

Apart from this, the update also provides support for music streaming through Amazon Music. This means that users no longer need to take out their smartphone to listen to music. Users can now also share captured media as their Instagram story with voice commands. Along with the new features, Meta has introduced 3 new styles for its smart glasses such as Skyler in Shiny Chalky Gray with Gradient Cinnamon Pink lenses, Skyler in Shiny Black with Transition Cerulean Blue lenses and Headliner Low Bridge Fit in Shiny Black with Polar G15 lenses. These styles will be available in 15 countries including the US, Canada and Australia.
