Report Suggest Android 15 to Offer Dynamic Spatial Audio Using Bluetooth LE Technology

Android 15 will provide a more immersive spatial audio experience. According to a report, Google is expected to offer dynamic spatial audio via Bluetooth Low Energy (LE). Apart from this, the use of this technology will reportedly reduce head-tracking latency, use more bandwidth and improve battery life. Recently Android 15 was revealed that devices can increase standby battery life by up to 3 hours.

Android Authority’s Report According to , tipster Mishal Rahman suggested that the next Android update may use Bluetooth LE audio technology to improve the spatial audio experience of the device. Currently, Android does not support dynamic spatial audio using it.

The report suggests that using Dynamic Spatial Audio requires a head-tracking sensor in addition to the smartphone configuration required to use low-latency Bluetooth in the headset. However, this is said to be a power-consuming feature that can have a significant impact on battery life.

According to Rahman, Google announced at its annual developer conference that android 15 The update will bring support for Bluetooth LE audio which will be used to improve the spatial audio experience on the smartphone.

According to Karthik Veera, Product Manager, Android Media and Camera, instead of delivering audio over Bluetooth Classic audio, Bluetooth LE reportedly offers lower head-tracking latency and better bandwidth utilization for an even more immersive experience.

Android 15 Beta 2 Features

Google At I/O, the company has also announced the Android 15 Beta 2 update, after which it was rolled out for select smartphones. It brings a new security and privacy oriented feature called Private Space, which allows users to hide apps on a secure location on their smartphone. Apart from this, the Android 15 Beta 2 update also offers several security features, including theft detection lock. Apart from this, another feature called Offline Device Lock has also been introduced, which can automatically lock the smartphone when the user turns off the internet.
