Toyota India has launched the Maruti Suzuki Fronx based crossover Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor in the Indian market. Coming at a starting price of Rs 7.73 lakh, this car is the sixth vehicle under the Toyota Maruti Suzuki partnership. In the market, Taisor will compete with Maruti Fronx, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and the upcoming Mahindra XUV300. Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor price and availability

Toyota Ex-showroom price of Urban Cruiser Taisor Rs 7.73 lakh to Rs 13.03 lakh. Booking and delivery of this car will start from May 2024. The 1.2 liter engine model of this car is Rs 25 thousand more expensive than Fronx and the 1.0 liter turbo model is only Rs 1000 more expensive.

Engine and Power of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor has a 1.2 liter petrol engine which generates 88bhp power and 113Nm torque. This engine comes in 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT options. The second is a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine which generates 99bhp power and 148Nm torque. This engine comes in 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic torque converter options. It also has the option of company fitted CNG kit.

In terms of design, the Taisor is based on the Fronx, has the same dimensions and silhouette with updated front and rear profiles. It gets a revised front grille, tweaked bumpers, newly styled LED DRLs and redesigned alloy wheels.

The Toyota Taisor gets a fresh theme with new seat upholstery. This crossover is equipped with a large infotainment screen with wireless smartphone connectivity, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charger, ambient light system, steering-mounted controls, 360-degree surround camera and a head-up display.
