Volkswagen’s AccordingThe ID.UNYX has a striking exterior. The coupe SUV silhouette with a sloping roof creates a dynamic stance. The sleek front fascia features a light strip and LED headlights, complemented by blacked-out A-pillars and trim accents for an integrated look. Semi-hidden door handles and 21-inch wheels enhance the sporty look. The rear features an illuminated logo and taillights, while there is a diffusor underneath. The golden VW logo adds a hint of luxury.
Talking about the interior, the ID.UNYX has a Volkswagen-like design. A floating central control screen and digital instrument cluster are provided, while a flat-bottom steering wheel and shift knob provide a driver-centric experience. The new ID.S 5.0 infotainment system entertains. The ID.UNYX can be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, rear air conditioning vents and an electric tailgate for more comfort and convenience.
The ID.UNYX car comes standard with Volkswagen’s intelligent driving assistant system IQ.Drive. The suite includes Travel Assist 3.0 with features such as lane change assist, which makes highway driving more comfortable. Standard IQ.Park takes the parking stress away with features such as memory parking and remote control. A 360-degree panoramic camera and 12 ultrasonic radars ensure the driver has a complete picture of the surroundings.
ID.UNYX Features Power & Range
The ID.UNYX is offered in two powertrain options. A rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with a 170 kW electric motor, while an all-wheel-drive option is equipped with a 170 kW rear motor along with an 80 kW front motor. The all-wheel-drive variant accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. Both models are powered by an 82.4 kWh battery, giving the rear-wheel-drive model a range of 621 km and the all-wheel-drive model a range of 565 km.
Drivers can choose from 5 driving modes Sport, Eco, Comfort, Individual and Dynamic Traction Control to adjust the car’s performance to suit their needs. In terms of dimensions, the ID.UNYX measures 4663 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, 1610 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2766 mm. This new electric SUV is a significant step for Volkswagen (Anhui), which was established in 2017 as the automaker’s third joint venture in China.
