Volkswagen Taigun Virtus Sound Edition Launched Know Price Features

Volkswagen India has introduced a new special edition of its Taigun and Virtus in the country, which is known as the ‘Sound Edition’. The ex-showroom price of the Taigun Sound Edition is Rs 16.33 lakh, while the Virtus Sound Edition is priced at Rs 15.52 lakh. Taigun Topline and Virtus Topline Price

The Volkswagen Taigun Topline 1.0L TSI MT is priced at Rs 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Taigun Topline 1.0L TSI AT is priced at Rs 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Virtus Topline 1.0L TSI MT is priced at Rs 15.52 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Virtus Topline 1.0L TSI AT is priced at Rs 16.77 lakh (ex-showroom).

Features of Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus

The Sound Edition version has given a subwoofer and amplifier to the 1.0-litre TSI variants of both the cars. Both these features were earlier available only in Taigun and Virtus In 2018, the Sound Edition variant was available with the high-end GT Edge trim which was exclusively available with the 1.5-litre TSI motor. Apart from offering a subwoofer and amplifier, the Sound Edition variant also gets new C-pillar graphics, front electrically-adjustable seats, white roof and ORVM caps.

Engine and Power of Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus

Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus are powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with sound edition that generates 113 hp of power and 178 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed MT or optional 6-speed torque converter auto. The other is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 148 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission standard and a 7-speed DSG auto.
