X Provides premium paid services to Hezbollah and Other terrorist group says report

It has been revealed that Elon Musk’s social media platform X has allowed several terrorist organizations to pay for its premium services.

The report says that social media platform ‘X’ approved payments for its premium service to dozens of individuals and organizations that have links to terrorist groups. The report questions whether ‘X’ is violating US sanctions.

According to the information, 28 such accounts on X were verified with a blue check mark, which the US government considers a threat to its national security. These accounts include accounts of 2 leaders of Hezbollah, accounts related to terrorist groups in Yemen and accounts of government media of Iran and Russia. The report claims that 18 of these X accounts were verified with a blue check mark after the new rule came into force.

The report also states that among the verified accounts, there are many people and organizations that are known to a large number of people. Then how did they get passed in the verification process of ‘X’ is a question.

On the other hand, a report by PressTV says that after the matter came to light, ‘Axi’ has suspended many Iranian accounts with paid subscriptions. Axi had already said that it is looking into the TTP report and action will be taken if necessary.
