Xiaomi is set to announce the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro in China in October which are the world’s first phones to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Xiaomi is also rumoured to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powered Redmi K80 and the 8 Gen 4 chipset powered Redmi K80 Pro in China in November. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the alleged Redmi K80 Pro via a Weibo post. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Redmi smartphones.

Redmi K80 Pro Specifications

leak reveals that the Redmi K80 Pro will have a flat OLED display with a single punch-hole and slim bezels. Previous reports claimed that the display will support 2K resolution and integrate an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Talking about the processor, the Redmi K80 Pro is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The phone will have a triple camera setup on the back panel consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with a large sensor and a telephoto camera. Previous reports have claimed that this will be a 50-megapixel telephoto camera that will support 3x optical zoom.

The tipster said that the K80 Pro will have a round camera module. Unlike the K70 Pro, the K80 Pro’s camera module will not have decorative studs. Talking about the design, the tipster said that the Redmi K80 Pro will have a glass back and a metal middle frame. The tipster has not said anything about the battery capacity of the alleged Redmi K80 Pro. In May, the tipster claimed that it will have a 5,500mAh battery. However, a leak that surfaced last month suggests that it may have a 6,000mAh battery that is also expected to support 120W fast charging.
