PTI has shared a video on X, in which a traffic policeman is seen standing on the road. The policeman has a board in his hand, which says about following traffic rules, but the most amazing thing here is his helmet. The helmet seems to be a modified version of the common police helmet, in which a machine is fitted in the front.
The machine has a vent to draw air outwards, which probably works to draw hot air from outside, which the machine converts into cold air and sends inside the helmet. The machine is connected to a battery, which can be seen in the video to be attached to the waist of the policeman through a belt.
VIDEO | To help beat the scorching heat, Vadodara Traffic Police has provided AC helmets to its personnel. The AC helmet was developed by students of IIM Vadodara. Here’s what police said about the new helmet.

It is told in the video that this helmet has been prepared by the students of IIM Vadodara and the police department has given this helmet to 450 policemen for use.
Let us tell you that like every year, this year too the heat can show its fierce form. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted severe heat in most parts of the country from April to June. There is a high possibility of heat wave for 10 to 20 days during this period. In such a situation, this helmet of IIM can definitely prove to be very useful for the policemen of Vadodara.
