Honda Launches SP125 Sports Edition Motorcycle, Know Price, Specifications

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), one of the largest two-wheeler companies, has launched the SP125 Sports Edition motorcycle in India. Its price is Rs 90,567 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will be available at Honda Red Wing dealerships across the country. Booking for it has started.

This motorcycle has been given an improved tank design, matte muffler cover and new graphics. It will be available in Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Grey Metallic colours. It has a bright LED headlamp and a fully digital instrument console. Its instrument console also provides mileage related information along with a gear position indicator. The SP125 Sports Edition has a 123.94 cc, single cylinder BS 6, OBD2 compliant PGM-FI engine that generates 8 kW of power and 10.9 Nm of torque. HMSI is offering a special 10 year warranty with it which includes three years standard warranty and seven years optional warranty.

last month Company launched the Hornet 2.0 motorcycle. It has some improvements compared to the Hornet. This motorcycle has an OBD2 compliant engine. It has a 184.4cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which generates a maximum power of 17 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 15.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This motorcycle also has a new assist and slipper clutch that makes upshifts easier.

The price of Honda Hornet 2.0 in India starts at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Booking of the bike has been started and interested customers can book it from the company’s official website or nearest dealership. It gets up-side down (USD) front fork. The company claims that this has been given for the first time in the sub-200cc motorcycle segment. The gear position is also visible in its digital instrument cluster. Earlier, the company launched the Dio 125 scooter. It can be purchased in two variants – Standard and Smart. Its price is Rs 83,400 and Rs 91,300 (ex-showroom). The new Dio 125 has the same performance as the previous model. Scooter It has a similar design but has a more powerful engine. The company is offering a standard warranty of three years with it. The engine in this scooter is also used in Grazia 125 and Activa 125. It can generate a maximum power of about 8.19 bhp and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm.
