Infosys Employees Will be Required to be in Office 3 days in Week, TCS

Employees of Infosys, one of the largest software companies, will be required to work from office for at least three days a week. Earlier, the company had asked employees to come to office regularly but this was not being followed. Earlier, many other companies in this sector had also removed the facility of work from home given to employees.

A media Report According to, an email sent by Infosys management said, “Please start coming to the office at least three days a week. This will soon become mandatory.” In this email, displeasure has also been expressed over the low response to the email sent earlier regarding returning to the office. It has been said that the arrangement of work from home for three years after Corona is sufficient. Along with this, employees have been told that except for medical reasons, they will have to attend the office regularly.

In another email, the company has informed about restoring the charge for bus services. From next month, its employees will have to pay Rs 150 per day for bus services. However, this charge will not exceed Rs 1,500 per month. Infosys employees were allowed to work from home for nine days every month before Corona.

Recently, global software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) also made it mandatory for employees to report to the office five days a week. Along with this, the company advised employees to follow the dress code in the office. TCS Chief Human Resource Officer, Milind Lakkad said in an email to employees that Company TCS wants to see its associates in the office on all working days. He had said, “A large number of associates have joined the company in the last two years and they were working virtually or in a hybrid manner. It is our responsibility to integrate them.” Along with this, he had said in this email that employees should also take care of the dress code because they also represent the company. Earlier, TCS had said that about 70 percent of its employees have returned to the office.
