Kia Decreases Price of Seltos SUV, One Feature removed from Some Variants

South Korean automobile company Kia has reduced the price of Seltos SUV. However, some features of Seltos have been removed for this. The company launched it in July at a starting price of Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the variants of Seltos, its price has been reduced by about Rs 2,000.

It competes with Hyundai’s Creta. A media Report According to, the price of Seltos HTX and above variants Price has been reduced. No changes have been made in its X-Line variant. Recently, the company had increased the price of Seltos by Rs 30,000. Kia has prepared to provide the one-touch rolling feature of windows only on the driver side window in all variants except X-Line of Seltos. Due to this, the price has been reduced. However, this feature will be available for all windows in the X-Line variant.

Seltos is the best selling model for Kia. Its upgraded version was launched a few months ago. Along with some changes in its design, improvements have also been made in the cabin. Apart from this, some new features have also been added to it. Its top variant gets ADAS Level 2 technology. Seltos has received good response from customers in the mid-size SUV segment. Seltos has more than half of the company’s sales. The company had also announced the ‘K-Code’ program for quick delivery of the new Seltos.

The company has provided panoramic sunroof, newly designed grille and headlamps, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 157 bhp more powerful than before in the upgraded version of this SUV. It has also been made available in a new Pewter Olive colour. Kia has produced 10 lakh cars in India in just four years. The company has also expanded its sales and service network. Its target is to increase its market share to 10 percent by entering new segments. The company has a factory in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The demand for SUVs has increased rapidly in the last few years. Many automobile companies are launching their models in this segment.
