National Lok Adalat Date 11 May in Delhi Easily Pay or Waive Your Traffic Challan Heres All Details

There are many ways to pay traffic challans, but despite that thousands of challans remain pending in Delhi. In such a situation, Delhiites are given a unique way to pay the challan, which is called Lok Adalat. Yes, Lok Adalat is also held in Delhi to pay the challan. The latest date of this court, which is held from time to time, is 11 May. This National Lok Adalat, held by Delhi Police, will include challans of both commercial and private vehicles. If you have a pending challan, then 11 May is giving you a chance to pay it.

In Lok Adalat, people also have the opportunity to get the fine reduced or waived off completely by paying the full amount of the challan by giving valid reasons. The cases that will be placed in the National Lok Adalat will include compoundable traffic challans including commercial vehicles pending on the DTP portal till January 31, 2024.

In this National Lok Adalat, not only challans like jumping red light, speeding, not wearing seat belt etc. will be included, along with this those who have challan for driving without a valid driving license or pollution certificate can also settle their challan in this court.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police, each bench will settle only 1000 challans/notices in a day and a total of 1,80,000 challans will be settled in 180 benches set up in all court complexes. In a post on its social media handles, the traffic police wrote, “National Lok Adalat will be held in all court complexes of Delhi on May 11, 2024 (Saturday) from 10 am to 4 pm for payment of pending payable traffic challans/notices. Avail this opportunity to pay pending challans/notices.”

Let us tell you that in Delhi, Lok Adalat will be held in the premises of Karkardooma, Dwarka, Rohini, Patiala House, Rouse Avenue South and Tis Hazari Court.
