Delhi is number one in terms of forgetfulness, Mumbai is second while Bengaluru is third. Hyderabad is the fourth most forgetful city and Pune is fifth.

According to the survey, all over India Uber Phones, bags, wallets and clothes top the list of items lost in Uber. This is followed by essentials like water bottles and keys. Riders have also forgotten items like glasses and jewellery during Uber rides.
Unique item lost during trip
According to the survey, riders also forgot unique items like a ukulele, a coin collection, offerings and a hair trimmer. Some even left documents like passports, bank and business papers in their Uber rides.
When do users forget the most?
According to the survey, riders are most likely to forget their belongings in Uber on Saturdays and around 7 pm in the evening. It was revealed that Apple devices are the most lost items during festive seasons like Diwali.
What Uber said on the ‘Lost and Found Index’ Nitish Bhushan, Head of Central Operations, said, “We all have been riding and it has happened to all of us when we suddenly realised that we have forgotten a valuable item or other precious item in the cab. With Uber, you have the option to try and recover a lost item by following a few steps in the app. We recognize the trust that riders put in us every time they take an Uber ride. So, we felt it was time to provide information on how to recover lost items.
